Privacy
Short version
devexamples runs as a fully static website. There are no user accounts, no cookies set by this site, no analytics or tracking scripts, and no server-side processing of your personal data. Anything saved while you use the site stays in your browser.
What is stored in your browser
The site uses your browser's localStorage for the following, purely local, purposes:
- Theme preference — if you toggle light/dark mode, your choice is stored under a
devexamples-themekey so the next visit matches your preference. - Your local workspace — resources you save and pages you recently viewed are stored in your browser so the workspace page can show them on your next visit. This data never leaves your device. Clearing your browser storage removes it permanently.
What is not collected
- No cookies are set by this site.
- No analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs are embedded.
- No forms that submit personal data to a server.
- No third-party fonts or third-party runtime scripts.
Search
Site search is powered by Pagefind with a search index generated at build time and served from this site itself. Search queries are processed entirely in your browser and are not sent to any search provider.
External links
Resource pages link to external sites (for example GitHub repositories) and offer a feedback link that opens a pre-filled issue on GitHub. Following those links is an external process governed by those sites' own policies.
Changes
If the site ever introduces new data handling, this page will be updated to describe it before that behavior ships.
